Yes, we do. We are a full service advertising agency able to provide for all of our clients needs -- this includes (but is not limited to) branding, brochures, business cards, signage, manufacturing a product, video production, copywriting, printing and more. If there is something we personally are not experts in, we have a great network of contacts that can refer you to or become your agency of record and work with on your behalf Contact us about your project and we will see how we can help you!
We have the ability to learn any industry or organization. Over the 10+ years we have been in business, we have worked with quite a variety throughout Gainesville and the surrounding areas. Blu Dove Designs' areas of specialty are environmental, medical, architecture, building construction, aircraft, horses, veterinary, churches, musicians, non-profits, travel, and small businesses. Information gathering is one of our strengths and we love learning new industries too!
Our fees range depending on the size and scope of the project. Since every client is unique, we ask that you come in for an initial consultation so we can discuss your project in detail. The FREE consult lasts anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and gives us an opportunity to take an inventory of where you are and where you are going. Estimates will be given based on the initial consultation and the current rates for Graphic Design & Web Development. Special rates are available for community non-profit organizations where budget constraints may be an factor (proof must be supplied at time of initial consultation).
Yes. For new clients, a 50% deposit is required up front and will be based on the estimate provided after the initial consultation. All projects must be paid in full prior to final artwork being released. We offer a 5% discount if you pay in full at commencement by cash or check.

Yes. We recommend a budget of $1000 - 2000. In all honesty, well researched and developed logos are going to be an investment because of the time involved. The cost of our logos are billed as a flat rate fee and include market research, hours of initial sketching / design concepts, meetings with you to discuss our ideas and your feedback, all revisions, output for your use in all available/necessary format and most importantly OWNERSHIP of your logo. There are places online where you can purchase a logo for a few hundred dollars, however if you read the fine print you are only purchasing the right to use that image not actually OWN the artwork. You cannot trademark the image. Your logo is your identity it's one of the central items to branding your company. It is worth the initial investment. Please contact us for current rates, options and packages for corporate identity development. Some of our packages include business cards or other items you will need with your logo. Expect to budget at least $1200 - $5000 for a professional quality web site. With that said, there is no such thing as a "typical" website. Each business is unique and so are the needs of that business. The cost depends on number of pages, functionality needed and how much customization you are looking to achieve.... the more special customizations, the more time it takes and a bigger investment will be required. We will be the first to admit that we are not the cheapest around, however we can guarantee you a quality web site that you will be proud to use in your business. Before you run off to the cheapest place in town, or try to have your family member give it a go, call us to talk with you about your options. We will evaluate your needs honestly for both now and going forward and do our best to offer you a plan that fits within your budget. No. You are not required to host your site with us. However, when you do, it allows us to service your site in a much better capacity. We know what our hosting servers will and will not support, in terms of functionality, security, up-time and technical assistance. Not to mention, the service is top-notch. If you host elsewhere, we cannot guarantee that your web site will operate as intended nor can we offer any technical assistance beyond the basic structure of your site.
Before spending money on hosting, please come talk to us first about your plans. Depending on your needs for your web site, what you choose may or may not be the best choice for your particular needs. Host providers do not refund hosting fees paid. Domains can be purchased from a source like GoDaddy.com, network solutions or even through Blu Dove. However please check with us first before purchasing any web hosting. If in doubt, do NOT purchase anything until you've talked to a web consultant.
We are a reseller for a Tier 1 hosting company based out of New Jersey. We offer Linux hosting plans that include all support and email. When you purchase a hosting and support plan from us, we include on-site service, technical support of email, your web site and even small maintenance requests. Yes. After the initial consultation, we will provide you with a detailed proposal containing your cost estimate and terms of service. When you are ready you will need to sign this paperwork and provide the deposit prior to our team beginning your project. This assures both parties that items agreed to will be adhered to and that everyone is on the same page.
Yes. Blu Dove Designs wants to be sure that the client receives the services they need to assemble a successful marketing campaign. If you do not have all artwork and text, we offer copywriting services in-house or you my hire someone if you are not comfortable with writing your own content. If you need photography then you may choose stock photography or have us take photographs for you. Additional hourly fees will apply.
The Blu Dove Designs team and our partners are proficient on both PC and MAC platforms, including and not limited to: Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Quickbooks, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint), Access, CyberDuck, WordPress, Joomla, iOS, MySQL, PHP, Java, and more! Whatever your needs are, Blu Dove Designs will do what it takes to meet those needs and if we are unable to, then we have a network of providers we can refer you to or find someone to assist us in your project.
Yes. If you already have a printer you've worked with in the past, Blu Dove Designs will work directly them, approve all printer proofs and take all the worries of printing off your hands. Printing costs will be billed separately and will include applicable taxes.
We require that the project is paid in full prior to going to press, unless you are an existing client with at least 90 days history with us. If for some reason there are problems or errors with an order caused by the printer, we will act on your behalf to be sure that proper compensation occurs.
Turn around time depends on the type of printed job. Generally you can expect anywhere from 5-14 days. We will quote the turnaround time at the time of the estimate.
